The AHC reveals 2017 theme

The Annual Hotel Conference (AHC) has announced the theme of its 2017 show: Embracing Change, Seizing Opportunities.

Taking place at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate from 11-12 October, the conference will seek to address the political, cultural and economic changes the UK is facing in relation to the hospitality industry. The event promises to highlight the opportunities that the shifting landscape will present and provide practical advice and guidance that can be directly applied to the operations of a hotel business.

Focus topics will include the potential for increased domestic travel, and how hotels can manage the uplift in demand and pressure on service levels with a potentially differing workforce, global investment into the UK, and new brands entering the market place and their effect on the non-branded hotels.

Further, The AHC will continue to place hotel technology at the forefront of the programme, with explorations into which technology to invest in, and how to access the suppliers and consultants. Elsewhere, as automation and robotics become more prevalent, the show will seek to understand the importance of human interaction from a guest perspective.

The AHC will discuss, deliberate, converse and debate these subjects across the two-day event amidst a back drop of multiple networking opportunities.
