Clausen joins RH Contract
RH Contract, the B2B division of luxury home furnishings brand Restoration Hardware, has announced the appointment of Soren Clausen to lead its Hospitality and Commercial business development, and project management, in the Asian, Pacific and Eastern European markets.
Clausen brings to the role over 20 years of experience in the furniture and hospitality sectors, most recently serving as SVP of International Operations for Janus et Cie. There Clausen was responsible for global expansion, opening new markets and establishing the company’s presence in the LATAM, EMEA and APAC regions. Prior to Janus et Cie, Clausen served as CEO of Moda in Casa, in Mexico, driving a seven-fold increase in the company’s revenues and earnings.
Clausen will be based in Singapore, where he has lived for the past five years, as he builds his team throughout Asia, Pacific and Eastern Europe.
The appointment reflects growing interest from international hospitality and commercial developers, architecture and design firms, and ownership groups in RH Contract’s commercial-quality products, international supply chain capabilities and wholesale pricing for large projects.
