NYX opens second Europe hotel
The second European NYX Hotel has opened in Prague. Located in the heart of the city, the 91-key property features a contemporary art concept throughout, and is situated within a historically preserved building in the Czech rondocubist style.
The NYX Prague boasts contributions by selected street artists that function to bring an authentic taste of the locale into the guestrooms. Works by Martin Krajc, Ondřej Vyhnánek Jana Babincová and Sofie Tobiášová all feature within, and elements including Krajc’s patterned foyer walls intertwine effectively with an interior scheme overseen by Andreas Neudahm.
Daniel Roger, Managing Director, Leonardo Hotels Europe, comments: “The NYX Prague is the hotel for individualists: art, design, music and nightlife are all tied together at this location into a total concept which is characteristic of all of the buildings in the brand and which speaks to all of the visitors’ senses”
Defined by its laid-back casual loft style, several unique and bespoke elements bring a distinctive edge to the hotel and characterises the NYX brand through the underlying colour and material concept created specifically for the hotel.
