Marriott unveils Aloft Taipei Beitou
Marriott International has announced the opening of the design-led Aloft Taipei Beitou, the second Aloft hotel in Taipei. Featuring vibrant designs and innovative technology, the 292-key hotel is in close proximity to historic hot springs and two Metro stations, enabling easy access to Taipei’s downtown area.
Both guestrooms and public areas showcase the creations of local artists, integrating elements indigenous to Beitou. The modern, loft-inspired suites are equipped with a mobile check-in system, and feature the brand’s signature offerings, including a comfortable plush bed, walk-in shower, custom amenities by Bliss Spa, free WiFi, and a 43” LCD TV linked to a Plug & Play connectivity panel.
Elsewhere, Aloft Taipei Beitou offers a variety of dining and social spaces. The hotel’s signature restaurant, Nook, serves a buffet-style breakfast as well as a vibrant selection of a la carte dishes and specialty items. Nook also provides a pet-friendly terrace. For those on the go, Re:fuelSM by Aloft, Aloft’s signature 24/7 grab and go venue, provides light meals, mix-and-match snacks, healthy bites, beverages and more.
Guests can also enjoy the Re:mixSM lounge on the ground floor, with its six meter-high ceiling covered in butterfly-wing styled wooden panel lighting, and with a floor-to-ceiling pixel-like RGB LED creating a futurist aesthetic. Additionally, the Aloft brand’s signature W:XYZSM bar serves cocktails and beverages while offering the Live At Aloft Hotels programme that showcases live acoustic performances. Meanwhile, the Re:chargeSM gym is open 24/7, whilst three on-site meeting spaces are equipped with A/V equipment and fast, free WiFi.
Stephen Ho, Chief Executive Officer, Greater China, Marriott International, comments: “We are proud to debut Aloft Taipei Beitou, the second Aloft hotel in Taiwan, redefining the traditional hotel experience and strengthening the Aloft brand’s presence in the dynamic Taiwanese market. Taiwan draws both business and leisure travellers, and we look forward to bringing the Aloft brand’s tech-forward, vibrant experience and a modern style that is different by design to Beitou.”
