Avani Riverside Bangkok opens doors
Avani Riverside Bangkok Hotel has opened its doors as the first purpose-designed Avani property, bringing upscale, contemporary style and modern hospitality to the Chao Phraya riverside. The 248-key hotel aims to court the millennial traveller, both in its product delivery and design elements.
The 26-storey property will feature facilities including a rooftop bar and pool, multiple restaurants, fully equipped Avani brand gym and spa and over 4,500m² of flexible events and meeting space.
All guestrooms and suites are river facing, and offer expansive views of the city. The neutral décor is a blend of comfort and modernity, incorporating natural materials and high-tech equipment, with blackout curtains, rain shower, dedicated workstation and free WiFi and media hub docking station as standard.
The 11th floor lobby boasts an open-plan design, blending reception, lounge, meeting, leisure and restaurant spaces. Interiors are spacious, with the driving ethos of the design being modernity fused with comfort and craftsmanship.

Avani River View Junior Suites will offer nearly twice the amount of space as the Avani River View Rooms, and will include a freestanding bathtub set beside a full-length river view window. Elsewhere, Avani River View Two Bedroom Suites will offer an open plan lounge and dining room, along with a kitchen and laundry area, and the Avani River View Three Bedroom Suite will accommodates for groups of families and friends.
Dining facilities will include Skyline, offering sunrise breakfast and sunset dinner; The Pantry, serving up a mix of comfort food and artisanal deli snacks; and Attitude, on the 26th floor, a rooftop restaurant and bar incorporating an indoor dinner lounge, DJ booth, open show kitchen and wine wall.
Avani Riverside Bangkok will also be home to a versatile, multi-purpose events complex on the 10th floor, able to accommodate up to 900 guests banquet style, 1,200 guests for a staged performance and 1,500 guests theatre style. The complex will also offer 11 state-of-the-art meeting rooms, generous pre-function space and an outdoor terrace.
The hotel’s riverside location makes all of Bangkok’s attractions easily accessible with a shuttle boat service linking guests to the Asiatique night market and entertainment complex, with other swift connections to the city’s major districts available in close proximity.
