The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho opens
Luxury Collection has announced the opening of The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho, Starwood’s first hotel in Japan’s capital city.
Managed by Prince Hotels, the hotel is part of the mixed-use development, Tokyo Garden Terrace Kioicho, and the second Luxury Collection property to open in Japan following last years debut of Suiran, in Kyoto.
The design by Rockwell Group Europe features a contemporary aesthetic inspired by the sprawling sky and kaleidoscopic colours of the surrounding city. Located on the 30th to 36th floors of Tokyo Garden Terrace Kioicho, the hotel features 250 guestrooms, including 11 suites that fuse traditional touches with modern amenities.
The hotel features four restaurants and bars: Oasis Garden, an all-day dining venue with a sky garden setting; Washouku Souten, a Japanese restaurant with a sake bar, teppanyaki area, and sushi counter; Levita Sky Gallery Lounge; and illumiid THE BAR, distinguished by floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Other facilities include the Swiss Perfection operated Kioi spa and fitness centre, as well as a state-of-the-art business centre.
The adjacent Akasaka Prince Classic House, a western-style building completed in 1930 and the former residence of the last crown prince of Korea, is now home to French bistro La Maison Kioi, and Bar Napoleon. Preserving the historical ambience with a modern twist, the 3,000ft2 banquet hall can accommodate up to 140 guests.

The hotel occupies the geographic centre of Tokyo, seamlessly aligning with the city’s historic marvels and ultra-modern infrastructure, while offering convenient access to Shimizudani Park, Benkei Canal, and Tokyo International (Haneda) and Narita International Airport, which are 45 and 90 minutes drive respectively.
