Hilton Bankside unveils film
Hilton Hotels and Resorts has collaborated with Dexter Moren Associates and twenty2degrees to create Hilton London Bankside, a 292-key property that combines urban industrial aesthetics with luxury facilities and services.
The development features a distillery bar, executive lounge, 25 bespoke suites, 11 meeting rooms, fitness studio, indoor swimming pool and ballroom, as well as the OXBO Bankside restaurant, headed up by Executive Chef Paul Bates. The range of bespoke lighting throughout the hotel has been manufactured by British company Northern Lights, and Danish company Fransden Project.
With a design defined by layered facades of stone, bare brickwork, bronze metal cladding, and interiors finished with tiles inspired by those in the London Tube stations, both the hotel’s interior and exterior reflect the location’s urban setting and its cultural and historical heritage. Situated close to the Tate Modern, references to the gallery can be seen in the lobby, where the concrete effect tiles evoke the floor of the Turbine Hall.
