Milano Bedding showcases Charles
Interior design company, Milano bedding have revealed four innovative new sofa and bedding collections for 2016, enhancing its current catalogue.
The collections include Anderson, Charles, Morgan and Tommy and continue with Milano’s ‘naming’ concept.
Andersen conveys a timeless design with contemporary alterations. The seat cushion forms a single bed through a simple mechanism. Meanwhile, removing the feathers backrest cushions converts Andersen into a double bed for sleeping horizontally instead of vertically. The covers are fully removable and can be washed or dry cleaned depending on the selected fabric. Andersen is also available as a fixed sofa that can be completely disassembled.
The Charles collection is an elegant and comfortable model, where curved and straight lines blend harmoniously. The back works on a rotation mechanism, converting into a conventional bed with wooden slats and a 200cm mattress. The cover is completely removable and washable according to the fabric chosen. The Charles range is also available as a sofa and can be completely disassembled.
Morgan is distinguished by its Art Deco design and high-back design, creating a modern Bergère; the well-proportioned volumes combine classic and contemporary tastes. Featuring a seat in feather and high resilient polyurethane foam, feather backrest pillows and solid beech wood base in standard wedge finish or RAL colour on demand. Morgan is available in two widths, 222cm and 208cm and in several contemporary or classic fabric.
Utilising a contemporary and dynamic design, Tommy converts into a bed with a slatted base through a simple mechanism with front opening; the polyurethane foam mattress is covered with a quilted cotton fabric.
In collaboration with several designers, Milano Bedding has produced collections that combine design, comfort and technology, to bring the sofa bed concept to the same quality as ordinary beds and sofas.
