Anglepoise launches Giant Collection
Anglepoise has announced a new, enhanced and extended Giant Collection, set to be unveiled at Light+Building in Frankfurt, which runs 13-18 March.
The Giant Outdoor Collection will include a new Giant wall-mounted lamp for indoor and outdoor use, a premium three-piece Giant Brass Collection featuring solid brass components, and a new triple scale Giant interpretation of the best selling Type 75 desk lamp, in addition to the Original 1227 Giant floor lamp and pendant, which now comes in a new colour palette.
The Original 1227 Giant floor lamp is a highly functional light, using a unique spring mechanism and illuminated sculpture. With white inner shade, metal chrome shade cap, etched logo plaque and fabric covered cable. The lamp is now available in colours as well as custom options.
The Giant has been re-engineered for outdoor environments, incorporating marine-grade stainless steel fittings, a sealed light unit and durable silicone rubber cable, and comprises a floor lamp and articulated wall-mounted lamp, in a choice of 15 colours.
Furthermore, Anglepoise has super-sized the Original 1227 Brass to form the new Original 1227 Giant Brass Collection. Solid brass components and fabric-covered cable create a luxurious aesthetic across the range consisting of a floor lamp, wall-mounted lamp and pendant.
The Giant Collection will be available to order from 1st April 2016, with Harrods showcasing the collection as part of the London Edit, a round-up of the season’s essential interior trends.
