Room Mate Guilia opens in Milan
Room Mate Hotels, the hotel chain founded and chaired by Kike Sarasola, continues its international expansion plan with the opening of Room Mate Giulia. The first hotel in Milan, joins two existing Italian properties in Florence: Room Mate Isabella and Room Mate Luca.
Room Mate Giulia, set to open in March 2016, is located a few steps from Piazza Duomo and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, in the heart of the cultural, fashion and shopping areas of the city. The hotel will offer 85 rooms divided into four categories: Standard, Premium, Deluxe and Junior Suite.
The hotel has been designed by internationally renowned and award-winning Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola, with the interiors taking inspiration from the city of Milan itself. Urquiola has included materials and design elements that evoke the essence of this stylish and fashionable city with the overall aim of creating an authentic experience and making guests feel at home.
In addition to its unique characteristics, guests of Room Mate Giulia can enjoy innovative services found in all Room Mate Hotels such as breakfast served until noon and WiMate – free WiFi not only within the hotel itself but also around the city.
Room Mate hotels currently has 20 properties and a presence in six international markets and is planning 10 new openings in 2016 in destinations including Rotterdam, Florence, Rome, Paris, Malaga, Barcelona and Madrid, offering a total of over 4,000 rooms.
