Located in the heart of Valencia, Spain, Caro Hotel is an urban, independent hotel consisting of 26 inviting guestrooms, each different from the others with a fascinating history.

Considered the best room in the hotel, Suite del Marqués takes up the façade of the building, boasting more than 80m2. The former dance hall has been converted beautifully, displaying a symbolic painting on the ceiling that depicts the local city in the 19^th century. The style is an example of the splendour of the Caro family, and has remained largely intact until present day.

The space also offers guests a chance to experience historical and unique relics in the main lounge, with modernist wood skirting that was once on all main floors restored and displayed as an ornament. The suite is, consequently, a room where part of the Valencian history has melded in harmony with the contemporary and geometrical decoration proposed by the designer, Francesc Rifé.

Separately, the “Puerta de la ciudad” room is set apart, holding remains of great historical value. The space is rectangular and spacious, with almost 36m2 and was named after the imposing stone arch acting as a gateway to the city of Valencia.

The only junior suite in Caro Hotel, La Torre Árabe, is the oldest in the palace, and is located in the historical Arabic tower, previously used as a surveillance spot in the 12^th century. The room is divided in two heights and has been fully restored, creating an attic hosting the bedroom. From there, wooden beams and three monumental arches can be seen in detail.

More than 800 years of history behold this particular room, making it the most unique hotel guestroom in the whole city.
