Adfors brings wall protection Novelio to the UK market
Saint-Gobain Adfors, provider of glass fibre solutions, has launched Novelio paintable glass fibre wallcoverings in the UK market, offering an attractive and protective finish against daily wear and tear.
The Novelio wall protection range is ideal for areas that welcome high volumes of traffic, as the glass fibre boasts long-lasting properties, which can contribute to whole-life costing when specifying for newbuild projects. The wallcoverings also provide an ideal retrofit solution, covering cracked and damaged walls with ease, as well as smoothing irregular walls and ceilings.
Popular throughout Europe, glass fibre wallcoverings are proven to be the best performing solution for durability and abrasion resistance, a must for areas where walls can be easily and often knocked and damaged, while also preventing cracks from developing.
Simon Bennett, Sales Manager at Adfors in the UK and Ireland, commented: “We’re excited to be introducing Novelio to the UK. Our wallcoverings are so easy and quick to use, it makes renovation in buildings such as hotels simpler than ever. I’m sure that specifiers in the UK will welcome the long-term benefits and durability of Novelio products. With a soft-touch coating, the finish is unlike other glass fibre products on the market, meaning that it’s easy to apply and handle, causing no irritation.”
Made with all natural materials, Novelio products are non-toxic and satisfy Oeko-Tex Standard 100, class I with no harmful substances. Living conditions can also be improved with the product’s breathable properties, leading to a more comfortable experience for the end user. Its unique CleanAir technology immediately absorbs 70% of the air’s formaldehyde permanently.
