Union Hanover unveils first Urban Villa Hotel
Union Hanover Securities has premiered images of its first extended-stay Urban Villa concept hotel, set to open January 2015.
The 999-year lease for the 100 apartments was acquired by Union Hanover in April. The landmark 25-storey tower, from Barratt London, is located at Great West Quarter (GWQ) in Brentford as part of the scheme.
Hospitality Director and Urban Villa Co-Founder Andrew Fowler comments: “Urban Villa establishes a new industry benchmark. It is refined and professional yet has a playful edginess.”
Drawing inspiration from the conviviality of the British Inns of the past, the hotel boasts a combined reception and bar, where guests can check in, have a drink, lounge or request the Hotel Ambassadors to make a restaurant booking. Fowler adds: “This is the heart of our hotel, our Hotel Ambassadors are receptionists, bartenders and concierges all in one and promise a warm welcome to guests, inviting them to linger.”
Union Hanover’s Managing Director Eric Jafari concludes: “We are very excited about opening our first Urban Villa in this location. The region has a significant shortage of boutique hotels and extended stay products. We are very much looking forward to being the social hub for local residents and corporates.”
The hotel was co-funded by EquityBridge Asset Management and Coutts.
