Grohe launches latest generation of shower toilets
Grohe has launched the Grohe Sensia IGS shower WC, designed for sustainability with energy saving features.
Its energy saving mode means that the boiler will only generate heat when actually required, and an integrated decalcification programme ensures long service intervals and low energy consumption, something which can also be achieved with stand-by-mode. A ‘vacation’ programme can also be selected to prevent the waste of energy during extended times of absence.
A touch screen remote control with available wall holder allows programming and storing four personalised shower profiles. The WC will recognise the identity of the user when sitting down, meaning the personalised cleaning process is facilitated with the simple push of a button. Personalising the profile is also simple with the turn-and-push function of the central controller placed laterally at the seat.
Customisable settings include the water temperature, the intensity of the spray, position of the spray, duration of the shower and the heat of the air dryer. The separate Lady shower for feminine hygiene, the Power shower and the pulsating shower spray mean that Grohe Sensia IGS can cater to all needs and preferences. A maximum level of hygiene and safety is ensured by the integrated odour extractor, the automatic rinsing of the shower nozzle before and after use as well as the automatic thermal cleansing cycle, which is activated at regular intervals. Smooth surfaces, the special glazing of the fully ceramic bowl and the easily detachable Duroplast toilet seat mean that the WC is easy to clean too.
The shower WC is available in all-white or a special version matching a matte chrome casing with a white, black or red fascia. In addition, the WC is equipped with an LED-display with discreet night time illumination.
