MK electric supplies Ace Hotel London
The company has combined their MK Aspect range from its Decorative Collection, with the new USB charging module, combining form with function and complementing the new London hotspot.
MK Electric has a full spectrum of wiring accessories including switches, sockets, connection units, category six euro data modules and intelligent dimmers. Aspect’s profile is just 4mm, making it discreet as well as stylish, while concealed screws make the front plate elegant.
Aspect is safety conscious, useful for guests with children. The product has a three-pin operated child resistant shutter system, designed to inhibit access to the electricity supply unless all three pins are in position.
Ace Hotel London sits in the heart of one of the city’s most creative districts – Shoreditch. Guests visiting the area expect the hotel to embrace and adopt the Shoreditch ethos; eclectic, funky and bohemian. Wiring accessories have an important role to play in bringing this to life and ensuring that the aesthetic impact of a room is enhanced by its light switches, dimmers, sockets and cabling, rather than diminished.
Ace Hotels is also focused on making life easier for its guests. A deluxe double bedroom includes Wi-Fi connection and an oak table for catching up on emails or preparing a big presentation. In a similar vein, it has invested in USB charging modules from MK Electric, which allow guests to power up their mobile devices – tablets and smartphones in particular. These devices are so deeply woven into the fabric of people’s daily lives that guests increasingly expect hotels to provide charging provisions for them.
MK Electric recently announced the launch of a USB charging module, which will allows hoteliers to quickly and cost effectively jump on the big opportunity USB presents. The product – part of MK’s range of TV, data, power and audio modules – can charge tablets, smartphones, sat-navs, cameras, e-Readers and games controllers.
Jason Ng, marketing communications specialist at Honeywell comments: “This is the perfect example of form meets function. A stylish new London hotel like Ace Hotel London shouldn’t have to compromise its stunning interior with unsightly wiring accessories. We developed the Decorative Collection and ranges like Aspect with specific scenarios like this in mind. You only get one chance to make a first impression on a guest, and that’s why the best hoteliers make sure every little detail is in tune with their hotel’s ethos and brand.”
