Dorchester Collection Unveils Private Events Facilities at Coworth Park
The 70-room hotel, set in over 240 acres of stunning Royal Berkshire parkland will offer a choice of private event facilities to cater from discreet Boardroom-style meetings to lavish weddings and receptions.
There are thee private event rooms situated within the Georgian Manor House:
The Oak Room –situated on the ground floor The Oak Room is classical in design withGeorgian skirting and cornicing, whilst a pair of hanging sculptures of copper oak leaves add a striking touch. The Oak Room can hold up to 40 people for a sit down dinner or 70 for a cocktail reception and 50 for theatre-style.
The Oval Room – on the lower ground floor the Oval Room benefits from natural daylight and has its own private terrace which extends out to the garden beyond. The design is contemporary based on contours and colours from the surrounding landscape whilst a porcelain chandelier completes the room. There is capacity for up to 90 people for a sitdown
dinner or 150 for a cocktail reception and 130 theatre-style.
The Garden Room is also located on the lower ground floor and enjoys natural daylight. It too has its own private patio with a stone staircase leading to the terraced gardens. With its soft-gold palette and chandelier inspired by a dandelion flower The Garden Room is a charming and relaxing space. This room can hold up to 80 people for a sit down dinner,
150 for cocktail reception and 120 for theatre-style.
Beyond the main Manor House there is a further private event room, The Tower House located next to the stables and Barn restaurant. With its own small balcony The Tower House has views overlooking the lake and stream and can hold up to 40 for a sit-down dinner, 70 for a cocktail reception and 40 theatre-style. Additionally there is a small breakout room in the turret, ideal for small meetings.
In addition to these private event rooms Coworth Park will have its own marquee to host weddings and receptions for up to 300 people for dinner dances. Guests will approach the marquee via a floodlit Lime avenue. The marquee itself is nestled amongst centuries-old trees and enjoys a stunning view across the sunken gardens and meadow.
With its own helicopter pad and security Coworth Park’s developers are hoping to appeal to high profile political, corporate and diplomatic clients.
