Leading hospitality design firm HBA has announced the launch of a specialised and integrated design division, Studio, to cater to this budget conscious owners and developers in the USA.
The Studio division has been designed to work on a wide range of projects from small to medium-sized hotels to resorts, private residences, show flats, stand alone restaurants, nightclubs and office lobbies purely in their domestic markets.
Based in Los Angeles, Studio comes on the heels of the successful launches of Studio in Shanghai and New Delhi. The New Delhi Studio has completed hotel projects in India including the Radisson Blu Hotel Faridabad and the Royal Orchid Hotel Hyderabad, while Studio Shanghai has recently completed work on the ALoft Hotel Guangzhou and several residential projects in China. The Los Angeles Studio is currently working on the Radisson Rancho Bernardo and the Courtyard Marriott in Solana Beach, California.
"For budget-driven hospitality projects in the U.S., the multi disciplinary approach gives owners the ability to outsource and completely streamline project execution while maintaining greater control over project schedules and budgets,” comments David Dunphy, Principal of Studio in Los Angeles. “All of this can happen while still providing excellent design that relates directly to the bottom line."
Studio's strategic positioning is to operate with an agile and flexible sensibility, adopting a tailored approach to each project and client. The division’s menu of a la cart services includes architecture, interior design, and furniture, fixture, and equipment procurement.
